What’s a private showing? It can be just you to see samples, swatches & colors in your home. Add 1 or 2 more people and you can qualify for free and discounted products. Typically the appointment is about 30 minutes. I offer evenings & weekend appointments.

Bed Bugs – News You Can Use

Dr Oz had a show today all about bedbugs.
A pest control company cleaned 34 facilities in California 5 yr ago and 34,000 this year that were infested with bedbugs.
They are finding them across the country in homes, offices, theaters, stores and now restaurants.
They are being carried from luggage or hotels to home to work. They can live a year without eating.
Don’t put your purse on the seat next to you at the show, when you travel use the luggage rack and keep it away from the bed, check the bed before you bring your luggage into the room.
Look for black spots on the sheets, on the mattress, in the drawers. When you get home, put your clothes in the dryer on high heat to kill them for 30 min. If you suspect the room of bedbugs request another room.
Look at your purse or luggage in cracks & crevices, there is a bedbug spray you can buy in the hardware store to spray your luggage after you vacuum all the crevices first and throw away the bag.
Be very careful about anything you buy at a yard sale. At the store check under the collars of garments or in the folds of fabrics before you try it on.
I know all this sounds creepy, but they said it’s time to educate everyone. They get into everything and they are harder to get rid of than roaches. They are not harmful other than they can give some people an itchy rash or bumps if you’re sensitive to their bite.
